As the owner and president of CCM, Caroline oversees the day-to-day of the company while also still doing her first love, providing ideas and solutions for her clients. When she's not running a successful business with a podcast or two playing in the background (Jen Hatmaker's "For the Love", the "Healthy Moms Podcast", and "The Purpose Life"), she loves to spend time outside, hiking, at the beach or in the mountains with the four men in her life: her husband John, two sons Miller and Eli, and their schnoodle Wilson. She also enjoys reading, a great glass of wine, Mexican food, and her toes in the sand.
Amy Hill is the oil in the CCM machine. As bookkeeper, Amy is in charge of invoices, payments, bills, taxes, payroll, and much more. Amy has a heart for the customers and loves when she gets the chance to meet them face to face at showcases. When Amy is not at CCM, she is leading a lifegroup study with a group of amazing women, co-owning a beauty salon with her daughter, or playing with her granddaughter, Harper, who has stolen her heart! Amy is definitely a loves-summer-kind-of-gal and comes alive when she's at the beach.
Sales support + marketing assistant
Although Laura is new to CCM, she is taking her responsibilities by storm. She has found her role in assisting with administrative tasks and curating and editing social media. When she isn't analyzing hashtags and facebook algorithms, she is spending time with her family. With four kids, ten chickens, one rabbit, and two dogs, Laura has her work cut out for her, but she still enjoys time growing herbs and vegetables in her garden and playing in and on the water. Laura enjoys mint chocolate chip ice cream, bluegrass, and strong, black coffee.

History of CCM
When Debbie Chused saw the need for a local promotional products supplier that offered a wide range of top quality personalized products at competitive pricing, she took matters into her own hands. Just months later in January 2002, Coastal Connections Marketing, Inc. opened its doors on West Vernon Avenue in Kinston, NC. While the new, small business was in a tiny office at the top floor of a dentist's office, some of her first customers included some of the area's largest companies such as Bojangles', Lenoir Community College, the little bank, Affordable Care, and Lenoir Memorial Hospital, and these companies continue to partner with CCM 16 years later.
In 2005, Coastal Connections Marketing received the Small Business of the Year award from the Kinston-Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce. The business quickly expanded into a larger office space and grew to serve over 300 customers in 17 states.
In December of 2012, Caroline Roberts purchased CCM from Debbie. Caroline's familiarity with all aspects of the business, honed over 7 years of working at CCM, allowed for a smooth transition of ownership.
Today, the team enjoys working with a variety of clients in 25 states. Our promise continues to be the same--to provide our clients with great ideas, quality products, and the best-in-class customer service.
